Even though the Patriots have posted an abysmal 0-4 record this year in pre-seaons they're going to be fine in the regular season. I heard it straight from the horses mouth...Bob Kraft. While the guy may be perhaps the worst golfer I've ever seen with my own eyes, he does know a thing or two about putting together a successful football team. As he walked up towards the 18th green yesterday at the TPC Boston for the 6th annual Deutsche Bank Campionship Pro-Am I yelled over to him "Hey Bob... how's Tom Brady's foot?". He stopped, dead in his tracks, turned around towards me and said "Don't worry...everything is fine". It drew a huge round of applause and cheers from the gallery and I was satisfied. If Bob Kraft says that TB and the Pats are good to go, then that's good enough for me!
Here are Bob and Phil Mickelson chatting it up on the 2nd green. Maybe Phil was giving him a few needed pointers!
Below I'll post a few more photos from the day. Enjoy.
Vijay Singh on the 9th green.
This is Sergio Garcia chipping out of some nasty rough on #9. He actually sinks this chip from about 40 feet away!
Not much a description needed for The Donald. I will not that he was wearing the same exact outfit as last year! Yep.
Here's one of the 3 shots that Kraft put into the drink on #16. I guess he got his monies worth today out there!
Here's Kraft talking with a few of the other members of his team...one of whom was NYC mayor Mike Bloomberg.
After they were finished the 15th Camilo Villegas tossed a few balls into the trap for practice. He put them all within feet of the stick.
Kel and I standing near the 15th tee box as we wait for ESPN legend Chris Berman to make his way around.
"The Swami" as he's known, was one of the nicest guys out there. He stopped to greet every kid and sign every autograph...which is perhaps why his group was like 4 holes behind everyone else! He even stopped to snap a few photos with me.
And lastly...Ernie Els signs a few autographs and even does an interview as he walks off the 9th green.
