So you guys have to check out this new USB storage thingy that I got the other day...
How cool is that? 4 gigabytes of storage with you at all times and no bigger than a standard house key. [they do have larger capacities as well]. I came across this in a photography magazine that I subscribe to and for only $20 bucks knew that I had to have it. [plus it was time to upgrade the 2gb stick that I was currently using]. It's made by a great company called LaCiewho have been making storage devices for years now and continue to come out with cool variations. Example: the USB drive that looks like a coin!
I do wonder how long that plastic cover at the end will stick around, but I think it'll still work fine even if it does go missing.
So I've been noticing that comments are way, way, way down as of late [not that we had tons before, but enough of them here and there]. So I'm wondering, is anyone even coming here to kn.com anymore? Should I power this thing down and pocket the $8.95 each month that I pay to typepad? Are the blog topics boring? Photos no good? You guys tell me. What do you want to hear more of?
I'm not trying to sound like Debbie Downer here, but if no one is interested anymore then there's not much point in continuing to put stuff up here, right?
Jackie was apparently out and about the other night and was at one of those dollar stores when she spotted this little guy. Knowing how much I love Lego's, she got it for me. [and one for Vince too]. How nice! I of course had it all put together in about 30 seconds.
Kelly always gets me some at Christmas time too...so they continue to add to the Lego collection I have, and that remains housed in my parents attic.
Every year the PMC sends all the riders and volunteers a great yearbook highlighting the amazing success of the past year. It's a great recap of everything that happened and a humbling look at just how much money was raised, yet again! They decided to make a digital version of the yearbook available this year and I wanted to share it with you all here...since you guys contribute so much to this great event each year with your donations and support! Click on this link if you'd like to have a look. Download PMC_YrBk09. [once you click the link select SAVE and then save it to your desktop]
Thanks to all your donations you'll notice my name listed on page 27 as a "heavy hitter". Thanks again!
All that power from the nuclear plant down the street needs to eventually get to the people. There is a line of high tension wires that runs about 2 miles from the farm here and they always look great in silhouette as the sun goes down. I finally got around to snapping a photo of them!
A busy weekend building some study models for a client.
Don't mind the crappy cell phone image. I just didn't feel like taking it with the good camera, uploading it to the computer, editing it, then resizing it for the internets, and finally uploading it here. The phone method was just a lot easier!
"If you have a probelm. If no one else can help. And...if you can find them. Maybe you can hire the A-Team"
I saw this movie trailer online the other day and I'm stoked. Click this link to see the video. I used to watch the A-Team all the time as a young buck and loved the last 15 minutes when they'd build some sort of crazy truck or machine to take down the bad guys.
