Back in March I went over to the Wells Fargo Center here in Philly to see the Celtics play the 76'ers. WIth the regular season coming to an end soon it wasn't an important game for the Celtics by any stretch, but here in Philly it was really talked up, both before and after the game, as a statement game for the 76'ers. In the end the home team squeeked out a win and it went down in the history books as just another regular season game. Until the 76'ers put this up on the jumbo-tron...
If you have trouble reading the image it says "76ers thank the Celtics fans for attending! Come back and enjoy another loss in the playoffs"
Here's the problem with putting up a message like this...you need to be able to back it up. I'm sure the Celtics [and thier fans] would have loved to come back to face Philly in the playoffs, but you have to do better than a 4-1 series against the Miami Heat for that to happen! Maybe next year 76'ers, but for now, have fun on the golf course.
And they wonder why people hate Philly fans.

No kidding. And this isn't even the fans...this is the actual team putting this message up. I just can't believe it.
