Yesterday afternoon, after yet another trip to Home Depot, I was thinking to myself..."wow, I wonder how many times I've been to Home Depot since we bought this house?". Well thanks to modern technology, my ridiculous budget tracking tendencies and the fact that we never pay for anything with cash, I was able to pull up that information rather quickly. Just a quick sort of "Home Depot" in Microsoft Money [so sad they've discontinued new releases] and I would have my answer.
First though, I wanted to see how long we'd actually been in the house. A quick tally revealed that it had been 45 weeks since closing.
Now for the grand total of Home Depot trips...that came out to be 54. 54 trips to Home Depot in 45 weeks. An average of 1.115/week. That's kind of a lot, right?
Sounds a little light to me.

Coming from the guy who is in the middle of gutting an entire house...I guess that would be "light".

Home Depot is my favorite store, there I found everything I need to decorate my house, I go every month to see what's new and I don't leave it without buying something, it's an obsess to me, I don't even have room n my house to put all those decorations.

How many more trips did you make without taking home a receipt?
