Not too far from our casa is, from what we're told, a roadside institution in these parts, and one of only a few still standing, Weber's Famous Root Beer. You can't miss the sign as you drive by...
We stopped in this past weekend for a quick bite and a glass, or two, of the rootbeer.
The food was really nothing to write home about. I got the burger and it was just a burger. No lettuce, no pickle, no tomato or any of that stuff. They at least provided some ketchup and mustard! The rootbeer was pretty good though...so good that we ordered another mug.
I also thought that the waitresses would be on roller skates, but I guess those days are long gone. Anyway...we had to give it a try, but I don't think we'll be heading back too quickly.
