Kel and I were over at Crate and Barrel the other evening picking up a few things for the house when I noticed this framed sketch of Fenway Park hanging on the wall. Well, let me rephrase that. I noticed a sketch on the wall and had to read the description to see that it was supposed to be Fenway Park. Take a look for yourself...
Turns out it was part of a cityscape package of 5 other prints that retails for $300 bucks! [or you can buy this one individually for $70!
First, is this not the worst rendition of Fenway Park you've ever seen? I'm talking not even close. It's just horrible...I really don't even know what to say. And secondly, why would you include Fenway in a series of cityscape sketches? It doesn't really stand out on the skyline too much like those other landmarks do.
I'll tell you what, my boy Izzo could do a sketch of Fenway that was a million times better, and probably for half the price!
Spoken like a true architect. I think this is supposed to be an artistic interpretation there Kev. It shows how they have found one way after another to build on the foundation of Fenway. We all know how every year they add a new section.
I would never buy it either but once again, I think you are missing the point a bit.

Let's make it happen Mike. You sketch and I'll peddle it to the readers of KN.com. I know whatever you come up with will be much better than this crap at Crate and Barrell!
