The Red Sox were in town last week for a quick 3 game inter-league series against the hometown Phillies. I'm not much of a fan of inter-league play, but it did afford me the opportunity to see the Sox on Tuesday night and Thursday afternoon. [Much thanks to Maccio for the Tuesday tickets and to Patrick for Thursday!]
For Tuesday night we battled the heat and humidity with our friends Mindy and Justin. It was their first time at Citizen Bank Park so they had a great time. I had to make sure the tickets went to Sox fans!
We got to see a great match-up too...Beckett vs Lee. Unfortunately for the Sox, Beckett made a few mistakes and they ended up losing 5-0.

On Thursday I went along with Patrick and a couple of his buddies for the 1:05p matchup. Lester vs. Hamels.
Check out these people...one guy making sure his gut got a tan and then this lady using some sort of Phillies doll to help bring them good luck!
The Sox won this game 5-2, so I was 1 and 1 on my visits. So ended up losing 2 of the 3 games though...oh well.
Would be cool to see a Sox/Phillies World Series!!!
