In the world of Philly cheesesteaks you always here "Pat's or Geno's?", "Geno's or Pat's?" It's the constant question people ask in the great cheesesteak debate. The name you don't hear as often is "Jim's". Many locals will tell you that Jim's is THE place to go. Pat's and Geno's are just for the tourists they say. Well, after our visit a few weeks ago...they're right! Jim's is where its at!
Much like Pat's and Geno's, there's a long line outside at all hours of the day. And here at Jim's, the line moves even slower. But trust me, it's worth the wait!
The line snakes past a window that lets you peek inside and see the tasty steaks that await you...
I had all sorts of intentions to take a photo of my cheesesteak once it was infront of me...but I tore into it and before I knew it there was nothing left. So you'll just have to swing over to Jim's yourself to see the final product and have a taste for yourself. Best cheesesteak around!
I agree 100%, I tested them all one weekend. Pat's was good, Ginos was dogfood, and Jim's is the best no doubt about it. I'm getting hungry just thinking about Jim's
