A few weeks ago I rode my bike over to a bridge not too far from our house that affords great photos of the Philly skyline. I got there around 6:30, got into position, and waited for the sun to begin it's decent. I drive over this bridge often and always say to myself that I need to come back and get some shots...well, after a year of living here, I finally did!
I switched out my standard 18-50mm lens, that's my bread and butter ,for my 70-300mm that can get me nice and close. See the difference below:
18mm
Pretty big difference!
So after setting up shop I simply waited and took in the sights until the light got interesting. Got some good shots of people out on the river as well.
About 25 minutes before the sun set for good is when the sky really came alive and I was able to get some fantastic images.
Since these shots came out so great I've decided to offer them up for purchase. For only $125 I'll ship you any standard size print, from 8x10 all the way up to 16x20. Just email me at [ knowak31 at gmail dot com ] and let me know what # you'd like and the size.

[You've probably noticed that I've added some additonal watermarks to these images...it's for a little extra security. They're pretty low-res, but I just don't want them getting pilfered and used elsewhere.]
Kevin - these pictures are really beautiful! Makes me miss Philly.
