It's almost complete and we're getting very excited!

I'M excited about this (as someone who is 100% obsessed with everything Wegmans)! But what is it? A freestanding Wegmans beverage store? Where is the rest of the store? Never seen one of these before.
Lesley. It has to do with the amount of grocery stores in NJ that are allowed to see booze. They limit it to only a handful with the thought that they don't want to put mom and pop joints out of business. So what Wegmans did was open up a shell company and then apply for a liqour license. They still can't have the booze inside the store, so they've built this new building right along side the store.
Oh ok, that makes sense. I forget grocery stores aren't allowed to sell liquor, wine and beer everywhere. Out here in Illinois, we have all of the above in every grocery store. I wish I had a Wegmans out here, I miss it!
