Kel had to be up in NYC and Boston last week for work...so I picked her up Monday evening in NYC and we then drove up to my folks place in Norfy for the night.
While Kel went off to work on the train Tuesday morning I set off on filling up the ol' social dance-card. I started things off with a quick breakfast at Bob's in Millis with Margy and Bob-dog. I ran some errands with Margy and then made my way towards Beantown with a quick stop in Newton for a coffee with my buddy and former co-worker, Paul. Always great to catch up with him.
I finally got over to Erin and Matt's house just as Erin and Kelly were getting back from work. While Matt was out getting new recruits, Erin, Kelly, and I hit up the All Seasons restaurant in DTM. Downtown Malden! Apparently Erin and Kelly go to this place for dinner every time she's up. Pretty damn good too!
Working from my home base in Malden on Wednesday I grabbed lunch with Nicky C over near his new office in Cambridge. Later that afternoon I met up with Kel and her old boss at work before we made our way over to his place in Back Bay for dinner with his wife. I haven't seen them in a few years so it was really great to spend some time with them.
On Thursday I had lunch over on Boylston Street with AC Delco. Great little sandwich shop near the Common! After that I stopped by Kel's office to say hello and meet a few people before heading back to Malden to load up so that Kel and I could get on the road back to NJ by around 4p,
A whirlwind trip for sure...and I wasn't even working like Kelly was!
