This past weekend, Memorial Day Weekend, was very nice and relaxing. We didnt really do too much or stray too far from the homestead, but it was just what we needed. BBQ on Saturday night with Uncle Tom and Aunt HaHa [that's how J says "Heather"], Discovery Center on Sunday, and some kiddie pool time in the back yard on Monday. The weather was awesome and we were outside pretty much the entire weekend.
At one point we needed to wash off J's feet after running around outside all day with no shoes on...it turned into full blown tubby in the kitchen sink. She loved it!
Back outside we go...
This may be my favorite photo from all weekend. Just a girl drinking her cold milk on a warm day!
With 3 kids under 21months old in the house this week [Erin and BabyM are visiting for the week], we decided to keep things as low-key as possible on Mother's Day. I quick picnic in nearby Newton Lake park would do the trick. We packed up some snacks for the kids, got a few sammiches at Wawa for us, and we were off...
Set up shop under a big, shady tree.
Note Kel's Mother's Day gift....It has our initials, the year we got hitched, and both of the girls names on it. She found it online and it's really cool!
After lunch it was time to feed the fishy's some stale bread and then hit the playground...
This roller slide thing is so awesome. Both of the girls loved it!
And a few shots from later in the after back at the ranch.
