We decided to do a somewhat low-key Christmas Eve this year. We wanted to make sure we were home for bed-time so the girls could sprinkle the reindeer food, hang the stockings, and leave some cookies and milk out for Santa.
Kel and I both had the day off so we hung out around the house with the girls and just enjoyed the day.
For dinner we met up with our good friends Jim and Jolin and S at a great little Asian place, Oriental Pearl, in the next town over. It was a tasty meal and the entire time we thought they'd bring out a whole duck, just like in A Christmas Story!
After dinner we all came back to our house to celebrate Jolin's birthday and for the girls to exchange gifts.
The girls were really cute opening their presents....
Our attempt at a family photo didn't turn out so well!
Finally it was time to set things up for the big-mans arrival and then tuck everyone into bed.
Ready for the morning...
