We've been dying to get over to Cape May all summer for a dog at Hot Dog Tommy's, and now that Kelly can finally eat them again [can't have them while pregnant], we took advantage of being down that way for #CrabFest2012 and dipped over real quick. Since it was Labor Day weekend, parking was a bear, but we finally found a spot and walked a few blocks to Tommys.
As alwas the dogs were amazing. I got a Ruben dog and a Buffalo dog while Kel went with the Chili Cheese dog and got a crepe down the street for dessert. I'm not really a huge hot dog guy, but these things are just on another level. We were so hungry by the time we got them that I totally forgot to take a picture. Oh well!
In the back of my mind I knew that our friends Nick and Jules would be in Cape May this week on vacation, as they're stopping at the house tomorrow for a visit, but for some reason I didn't put the two together until Kelly mentioned it. A few texts back and forth and we realized that we were only a few blocks away...so we met up real quick.
Miss J was fast asleep in her seat...but they at least got to see her. Jules was certainly excited! It was nice to see them for a bit...but we're even more excited to spend the day with them tomorrow!!!
A little bit of walking around on the sea wall was great for Miss J. She loved the ocean breeze and slept in her stroller like a champ!
The first of many, many trips to Cape May for her!
